Our Signature Standards
At DIA’LOG, we work to top-grade standards as our baseline because there’s a quiet confidence that comes from knowing you’re wearing the best.
That said, private jewelers and clients are always welcome to come with their own specifications. This is often the case with engagement rings, where preferences around the center stone can be highly personal. Our role is not to impose a standard, but to meet each brief intelligently and responsibly, with the same care.
When no specific parameters are given, we work to our signature level: the best of the best.
With over 40 years in the industry, our team of designers, gemologists, master jewelers, and quality-control experts have refined their craft to perfection. We never cut corners, and we are never hesitant to use more gold, higher carat weights, or additional refinement when the design calls for it.
18K Gold
We work with 18K solid gold, available in white, yellow, and rose.
Containing 75% pure gold, 18K offers a depth of color and strength that lower-karat alloys cannot match. It is more vibrant, more luxurious, and gentler on sensitive skin.
Our gold is carefully alloyed to achieve the ideal hue, then finished to enhance its natural luster and ensure lasting wear.
Platinum is available upon request for select designs.
Diamonds
We hand-select each diamond, whether natural or lab-grown, for its beauty both on paper and in person. While we consider the 4Cs (cut, color, clarity, carat), our standards go further.
Color
We select only truly colorless diamonds to the naked eye, in the DEF range, the most colorless available, and reject any with unwanted undertones or fluorescence that could affect appearance.
Clarity
We work with VS1 clarity and above, ensuring a flawless appearance without visible inclusions. Beyond the grade, we assess the type and position of inclusions, knowing that some are less noticeable to the eye while others can be placed or integrated into a design so they do not affect its beauty. We select only those stones that deliver the cleanest possible look.
Cut
An “Excellent” cut grade is a strong starting point, but it does not tell the full story. Every diamond we choose must meet this grade, yet we look deeper within the wide range of appearances it can encompass. We assess proportions in detail, including depth, table, crown, and pavilion angles, and examine the stone’s face-up appearance. We also consider subtle visual qualities not captured on a certificate, such as how the shape interacts with light and how it presents to the eye. These details ensure that every diamond we select offers exceptional brilliance and beauty in real life, not just on paper.
Carat
We balance carat weight with ideal dimensions, ensuring visual harmony while maximizing presence.

Colored Gemstones
Emeralds, sapphires, and rubies form the heart of our colored gemstone offering. We seek stones with vibrant color, fine clarity, and excellent cutting, carefully matching them when multiple stones are used in a single design. We also offer both natural and lab-created colored gemstones, each chosen for its beauty, durability, and harmony with the final design.
For special requests, we source other gemstones with the same meticulous attention to quality.
Craftsmanship
Our craftsmanship begins long before a piece is made. From the first sketch, we design with both beauty and wearability in mind, considering proportions, balance, and how the piece will interact with light. In the 2D and 3D stages, every detail is refined, from stone placement and setting style to the comfort of the final fit.
Once a design moves into production, it is entrusted to our master jewelers, whose years of experience ensure precision in every stage of creation. Finally, each piece undergoes a meticulous quality inspection, where every surface, setting, and clasp is examined to meet our exacting standards before it reaches you.
